DC (EW!DC) is proud to announce that PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC ) will serve as the Lead Mentor Corporate Sponsor for the Power Lunch program at Francis Scott Key Elementary School in  Arlington, VA. This new partnership with PwC will further EW!DC’s mission to promote literacy and enrich the lives of students at this school, its community and beyond. It directly aligns with PwC's focus on corporate responsibility and making a local impact.

The Power of Two: Maria Grant and Marlo Turcios

While many Power Lunch pairs delight in reading stories together, Marlo and his Reading Mentor Maria Grant, a principal at Deloitte LLP, have taken their partnership to the next level and have joined forces as co-writers and illustrators.  Since last year, Maria and Marlo have devoted the last 15 minutes of each reading session to writing a book together, page by page.
