[District of Columbia, December 5, 2012] – Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC) is proud to announce Target as the Lead Mentor Corporate Sponsor for three of its Power Lunch schools – Brent Museum Magnet School, Tyler Elementary School, and Amidon-Bowen Elementary School -- for the third year in a row.
Four Barnes & Noble stores across the Washington Metropolitan Area named Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC) as the beneficiary organization for their Annual Holiday Book Drives. Participating are the Downtown and Union Station stores in DC, the Seven Corners store in VA, and the Bethesda store in MD. The Holiday Book Drive allows Barnes & Noble customers to purchase books appropriate for children in Pre-K through eighth grades, which will be distributed to students served by EW!DC.
The mission of Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC) has always been close to Courtney Clark Pastrick’s heart. As President of The Clark Charitable Foundation, Pastrick is a former Reading Mentor in the Power Lunch program, and has served on EW!DC’s Board of Directors as well.
