On the beautiful morning of June 17, 2013 at Westfields Golf Club, Everybody Wins! DC successfully hosted the 17th Annual Scramble Golf Tournament and, with 11 corporate sponsors, raised more than $30,000 to support our signature children’s mentoring and literacy programs.
Special contests, like hole-in-one and longest drive, were held around the course with prizes including two round-trip air tickets and Callaway X Hot Irons to add excitement. After spending a few hours on the gorgeous course, participants returned to a delicious buffet, fun awards ceremony, and raffle with prizes such as a certificate for a round of golf for four at Snowshoe Mountain’s Raven Golf Club and Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic season tickets for two.
Congratulations to the winning foursome (picture above): Captain John Felker USCG (ret); Mr. Keith Beaver; RADM Jay Foley USN (ret); and Captain John Manning USN (ret), sponsored Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC.!
