Shared Reading Library
EWDC believes that shared reading has the power to change lives. While students across the DC area face several weeks out of school, and as public libraries and bookstores close indefinitely, our Shared Reading Library is more important than ever. We provide a valuable resource for our children and families stuck at home.
Caring adults submit videos of themselves reading children stories aloud, which we can then share with ALL our students and families. Everybody Wins DC provides our volunteer storytellers guidance every step of the way including: book selection, recording tips and tricks, and script. All videos submitted are reviewed by EWDC staff and then posted on our YouTube.
