EWDC worked with House and Senate offices ahead of the holiday to prepare boxes of books for distribution to children, community partners, and Little Free Libraries across the region. Congressional volunteers also wrote notes of encouragement to be placed inside the books, letting kids know that someone is in their corner. It was also great to connect with Daffnei and Jason, former Power Readers mentors.
