Everybody Wins DC in partnership with Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy are proud to unveil a new Little Free Library Read in Color (RiC) library. The library, located on the campus’ All-Star Pavilion includes fully stocked shelves lined with books highlighting diverse characters, elevating marginalized voices, promoting equality, inclusion + social justice.
The evening featured a book distribution and note writing activity led by EWDC, an interactive story time reading of “Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf” by Monisa at DC Public Library and baseball sessions as part of the organization’s Books and Baseball early childhood development program.
